The Furey papers deal with the author's life as a vagrant in California, Idaho and Oregon, beginning with 1869. The papers include a Certificate of Citizenship (Territory of Idaho, 1879); correspondence, business records, and a calf-bound volume in folio in which contains the original text, "Acapulka Heley 12th 1869".
Provenance
Donated to the Idaho State College Museum by Gwendolyn Furey Spongberg, Pocatello, ID, March 2, 1935. Deaccessioned from the Museum and transferred to the ISU Special Collections and Archives department, May 18, 1990.
